THE VISION
 
"Trust in the Lord, and do good: so shall thou dwell in the land,
and verily thou shalt be fed.
Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart."
Psalm 37:3-4


The primary focus of BOM Ministries is to encourage, equip and provide opportunities for individuals, teams and churches to get personally involved in missions. We believe that God has called us to be Mission Mobilizers. We offer ways for volunteers to get hands on experience in the Lord's work. The three most common ways to get involved are:
 
  • PRAYER: We encourage people to pray for us and other missionaries on the field. We know that prayer can do anything that God can do. We also recognize that without prayer we can do nothing of eternal value. Each month we also share special and sometimes urgent needs that must be lifted up to the Lord.

  • PARTICIPATION: We invite individuals and teams to come and work with us. Our work is multiplied when we join hands in taking the gospel to others. There are many different things that teams can do.

  • Construct a church building in a remote area
    		•
  • Conduct a Vacation Bible School for children
    		•
  • Sports evangelism clinics
    		•
  • Medical teams
    		•
  • Prayer walking teams
    		•
  • Food ministry teams
    		•
  • Personal evangelism
    		•
     
  • PROVIDE FUNDS: There is a lot of people who cannot go to the mission field for many different reasons. But, because God has so richly blessed them, they can provide funds for special projects and give so others can go.
    		•
     
    Our Hope is that between now and 2014 this ministry, along with the help of faithful partners, can do at least the following:
  • Build 30 churches in remote areas for people who will never have the funds to build a church for themselves.
  • Conduct at least three Vacation Bible Schools each year for children who will be introduced to Jesus for the first time.
  • Train Brazilian Christians to volunteer for mission projects as well.
  • Share the gospel with as many as possible through the other avenues of ministries as the Lord provides teams to come and work.

    These are our hopes and dreams for the future of the ministry. We have already begun to see them unfold. Pray that God will give us the wisdom to recognize the greatest needs that each day will bring. We know that if we remain faithful, God will bring all of this to pass.
