We have just concluded two weeks of training with Upward Unlimited. We met with nearly 200 people from 45 different local churches across the state. It was our goal to teach them how they could start Upward Basketball programs in their community. This went very well. In July we will follow up with several one day camps in various locations. Then in August some of the churches will start their own programs. Our goal is not to teach kids how to play basketball, but rather to use basketball to bring them together that we might share the good news of gospel with them. We want them to know that the greatest victory that they will ever experience is to have a personal relationship with Jesus.

 

Please pray for the teams that are coming to work with us this year. One in June, two in July and two in August. We are so grateful for the people who come and make it possible to multiple our ministry.
